The new model, designed on the basis of the SEPPI S9 forage harvester series, is one of the largest hammer mulchers in compliance with the road transport code on the market.
The “S9 multiplex” consists of 3 hammer cutters and in this combination reaches a working width of 8 meters.
The fields of application are mainly large areas, such as agricultural land, airports and uncultivated fields.
The particular arrangement of the rotor and the counter blades allows a perfect working result, both for corn and for any other type of cereal.
The stems are cut at the base and carefully chopped, thus preventing pest infestation. Thanks to a special arrangement of the rollers, the S9 multi-machine works exactly close to the ground without touching it.
In the presence of a tall strain with abundant green content, eg. intermediate sowing, the SEPPI S9 multiple forage harvester is designed to require as little power as possible.
By shredding the material with this technology, very high performance is achieved by effectively covering a large area – 8 m.
