LS 22 International 1490 – 1590 Mower-Conditioners v1.0.0.0
Designed from International Harvester to bring you closer to the bottom line when it comes to the cutting edge versatility of a 1490 and 1590 mower conditioner. Engineered with the three point lift system, this system allows for lateral and vertical floating to ensure the header gets every last bit of stem off of the the root. Once the stem is cut, its travel throughout the system is gentle and handled with care. Pushed in by the reel, an auger moves the outboard hay towards the middle where it comes to reinforced rubber rolls that are machined to close tolerances, making sure every bit of stem is crimped and crushed to reel in less time drying but also cradled enough to make sure no leaf is lost. You can also adjust your swath with the conveniently placed handle on the rear. Apart from the 1190, these haybines are suited up with a hydroswing, making turns easier and faster so no time is lost for cutting. With the hydroswing comes the high capacity PTO pump to provide power to the haybine but also easy to handle. Service is also easy to manage with simple hinged side shields that lift up and out of the way so you can maintain your vital parts.
The 1490 has a width of 12′ 3″ (3.7m) and the 1590 is 14′ 3″. Both are equipped with hitch extensions to make sharp turns easier, can go up to 7mph operating speed, and are rated for tractors of 60hp.
