FS19 Chip Tuning V 0.15
Today I am sharing my script mod for tuning motorized vehicles with you.
What does the mod do: You can now adjust the performance of the vehicles in the shop or garage (you no longer have to enter the xml of the vehicle, YUHUUU !!!!)
You have the steps +5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100% of the basic performance -> if + 100% = the performance twice as high like original (I found that graded well enough, otherwise you have to click so much)
The tuning itself doesn’t cost much like in real life, it’s quite cheap, especially it doesn’t make much difference whether you use 10% or 20% more power. The higher you tuned the more power you have for the €.
However! Tuning takes current daily costs behind it. With 10 or 20% tuning, such a vehicle is still well away and you pay about <1% of the purchase price daily. But if you overdo it and tune it + 100%, you have just over 10% of the vehicle costs as daily maintenance costs. So you should deviate how much you tuned, otherwise a larger tractor would have been cheaper quickly. It is the same in reality.
Oh and if you rent a vehicle, of course, you are not allowed to tune the vehicle, the dealers don’t like to see that.
The fuel consumption is of course also adjusted.
Using the mod: You call up the shop, then the vehicle you want to buy (or drives your vehicle to a configuration point, e.g. a shop or workshop). A configuration window then appears with the name Tuning, where you can go through the as usual Click Configurations. The actual performance that the vehicle will have is above the configurations. It is planned, however, that the performance will then be displayed in the field that is already in the game (I’m just too stupid).
When you have configured the device appropriately, you can buy it. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO RENT A TUNED VEHICLE.
