The Fiat 180 is a versatile tractor for heavy trucks, transporters or semi-trailers, produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat VI from 1975 to 1977.

Fiat 8 + 2 mechanical gearbox
GVW: on 6×2 / 2 carrier: 18.0 t in Italy, 22.0 t in Europe,
PTC: on 8×2 wagon: 22.0 t in Italy, 4th steering and lifting axle, plus 22 t trailer, or a 44 t GCW,
Semi-trailers for PTR tractors: Version T – 40,0 t.
As usual then in Italy as in many other countries, the specialized fitters transformed the 6×2 / 2 trucks into 8×2 with the addition of a self-steering and lifting rear axle to reach the maximum GCW allowed in Italy at 44 tons.
