Hello folks note this is for people wishing to have a go at creating a map using the Giant’s editor.

This is the latest V10 normal sized template I used to make maps, the map is blank and flat with the animal nav meshes and BGA installed for reference. It has multi fruits, GMFC, seasons components, my latest crop textures, chopped straw, custom mud and much more.
I have created a folder in the maps directory called newForMap in here you will find most of the installs and many of the models and decorations I used in the maps. All the installs have been reworked and are complete most with triggers installed where needed just for this template release. Where they have pallet movers and autosell triggers they are all configured in the modesc and samp01 xml files for you ready just import them and place them where you want all the rest is done so long as you don’t duplicate them. Everything in this folder has had it’s paths reset to this folder to reduce the map folder size so the items share sounds textures and shaders.

Remember if you duplicate any fabrik script install to call it a different name and if it has an attached sales trigger to sort out a new index name and match the new index name to the new entry that you create for it in the samp01.xml file where needed. The same applies to new map sales triggers. Only 2 main ones are included one on the Grain_Elevator1 model and an unloading ramp with the town Bakery trigger. The sawmill install group has particles, sales and trip triggers attached please and the lake log ramp end there is a wood pond sales trigger. The Farm silo is all configured ready and comes complete with the digital silo readout I used in the past.

Note everything you import in from the newForMap folder has been reset to 0 coordinates or close to 0 and some are grouped multiple items like the decoration group, building group, greenhouse group etc.

1 double gate is included if you add more make sure the gate ID number rises sequentially and also add a new entry for each gate in the animated objects xml file.

The sample map does not come with trains you will have to get those yourself from the Gold Crest map if you want them.

The sample mod map is tested as it is supplied log error free.

My Kotte Multi tanker is supplied with the map and can be found in the stores misc section when used.
